Twycross House is a listed building dating back to 1703 and is located off the village green. The school is set in over ten acres of grounds including gardens, sports pitches and playing fields. The feel of a country house is preserved and fosters the warm family atmosphere which characterises the school’s pastoral care. We endeavour to cultivate a supportive and guiding environment where our pupils can flourish and achieve their full potential. Mutual trust and respect and the need to consider the consequences of individual decisions on the society of the school as a whole are emphasised. Individual initiative is encouraged and cooperation and fellowship across all ages are promoted. |

An academic education of high standard is provided leading to GCSE, A level and Oxbridge entrance. The school has an outstanding record of achievement in public examinations and in placing sixth formers at top universities. This is a result of receiving excellent tuition in small classes – the maximum class size is 18.
